This transfer film features a thickness of 250 microns, offering enhanced strength and durability for your projects. Pressing should be done at 160°C for 20 seconds with medium pressure, ensuring optimal film adhesion.
The final result of this film is a satin finish, adding an elegant and professional touch to your creations.
This film is compatible with sublimation inks, making it ideal for a variety of customization projects. It is suitable for different types of textiles, such as cotton, polyester, polycotton, and acrylic.
The recommended tapes for effective application are ATT 450, ATT 490, ATT 495, and ATT 500.
For maintenance, washing at 40°C and ironing inside out is recommended to preserve the transfer quality and prevent design damage. When ironing, ensure it is done inside out to avoid any harm to the design.

1. Preparation for Printing the Design on Sublimation Transfer Paper
- Prepare the graphic file ensuring it is set up in mirror mode.
- Configure the printer according to the specific instructions provided by the manufacturer for the type of flex or vinyl used.
2. Using the Print Profile
- Select the appropriate print profile suited to the type of flex used and the inks, for accurate color reproduction and optimized drying.
- Insert your transfer paper directly into your printer to start printing.
3. Transferring the Design onto Fab Twill’Satin
- First, preheat the heat-transferable flex alone (shiny side up) at a temperature of 190°C, applying medium pressure for 10 seconds.
- Place the transfer paper on top of the heat-transferable flex, with the printed side facing the shiny part of the Fab Twill’Satin, aligning with the printed cut marks.
- We recommend securing the sublimation transfer paper to the heat-transferable flex using heat-resistant tape on at least two opposite edges of the transfer paper. If the paper is not flat, apply tape to a third edge.
- Press the design onto the heat-transferable flex at a temperature of 190°C with medium pressure for 50 seconds.
- Once pressing is complete, lift the transfer paper to remove it, ensuring it does not drag on the Fab Twill’Satin.
4. Cutting the Film
- If you need to cut the design using a plotter or a laser cutting machine, you must print the cut marks along with the design. Use a flock blade suitable for cutting heat-transfer flex, and adjust the blade depth precisely according to the material thickness. This ensures a clean cut without damaging the paper backing.
- Check that the blade settings optimize precision, especially for fine details of the design. It is recommended to perform a test cut before starting production.
5. Pressing the Design onto the Textile
- Place the textile on the heat press, ensuring it is properly positioned and the application area is clean.
- Position the heat-transferable flex on the desired area of the textile.
- Protect the design with silicone paper to avoid direct contact between the press plate and the polyester film.
- Set the press to a temperature of 160°C, apply medium pressure, and press for 20 seconds. The combination of heat, time, and pressure ensures the design adheres well to the textile.
By following these steps, you will achieve a professional-quality, durable, and well-applied marking on the textile.
- Strictly follow the care instructions specified on the garment: The recommendations for the textile on which the film has been applied must be followed to ensure its durability.
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash: This allows the film to adhere well to the fabric and prevents it from peeling off or deteriorating prematurely.
- Iron only on the reverse side: To protect the transfer and prevent it from being damaged by direct heat from the iron, it is crucial to iron the garment inside out.
- Storage: The film should be stored in optimal conditions, meaning vertically, away from direct light and humidity, for a maximum of one year. Improper storage may affect the film's properties, such as adhesion or elasticity.
- Washing: The garment can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It is recommended to wash it inside out to prevent the transfer from being directly exposed to friction, which could damage it.
- Do not use harsh products: Detergents containing bleach or other harsh chemicals may damage the film and affect its durability.
- Tumble drying: Not recommended. Tumble drying may damage the transfer.
- Dry cleaning: Not recommended. Dry cleaning could alter the quality of the transfer.
