With its iridescent/holographic effect, Holograflex is designed to add a touch of magic to your textile creations. With a thickness of 80 microns, this film combines lightness and strength, offering durable adhesion on various supports.
For optimal transfer, set your heat press to 160°C. Apply the film for 20 seconds with medium pressure. This method ensures uniform application, guaranteeing high-quality results while preserving the fabric's texture.
To maintain the brilliance of your creations, it is recommended to wash textiles at a maximum temperature of 40°C. When ironing, always iron inside out to protect the iridescent effect and avoid any degradation.

1. Mirror Cutting of the Film
- Before cutting, configure your cutting machine to work in mirror mode. This step is essential, as the marking will be applied backwards to ensure it is correctly oriented once transferred onto the textile.
- Use a suitable flex blade for cutting heat transfer flex, and precisely adjust the blade depth according to the thickness of the material. This ensures a clean cut without damaging the polyester backing.
- Verify that the blade setting optimizes precision, especially for fine details of the design. It is advisable to perform a test cut before starting production.
2. Weeding
- After cutting, proceed with weeding by removing the excess material around the cut design.
- Use specific tools like a hook or tweezers for precise weeding, ensuring only the desired design remains on the polyester backing.
- Ensure that the fine details of the design are well preserved and that all excess material is removed cleanly.
3. Positioning and Transferring the Marking onto the Textile
- Place the textile on the heat press, ensuring that the surface is clean.
- Position the design (with the polyester backing still in place) on the desired area of the textile.
- Protect the marking with silicone paper to prevent direct contact between the heat press platen and the polyester film.
- Set the heat press to 160°C, apply medium pressure, and press for 20 seconds. The combination of heat, time, and pressure ensures that the design adheres well to the textile.
4. Removing the Polyester While Hot
- Once pressing is complete, immediately remove the polyester backing while it is still warm, gently pulling it off to ensure that the marking stays in place.
By following these steps, you will achieve a professional-quality, durable, and well-applied marking on the textile.
- Follow the care instructions specified on the garment: The recommendations for the fabric on which the film has been applied must be followed to ensure its durability.
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash: This allows the film to properly adhere to the fabric and prevents it from peeling off or deteriorating prematurely.
- Iron only on the reverse side: To protect the transfer and avoid damage from direct heat, it is essential to iron the garment inside out.
- Storage: The film should be stored in optimal conditions, namely in an upright position, away from direct light and humidity, for a maximum of one year. Improper storage may alter the film’s properties, such as its adhesion or elasticity.
- Washing: The garment can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It is recommended to wash it inside out to prevent the transfer from being exposed to friction, which could damage it.
- Do not use harsh products: Detergents containing bleach or other aggressive chemicals can deteriorate the film and affect its durability.
- Tumble drying: Not recommended. Tumble drying may deteriorate the transfer and the fabric.
- Dry cleaning: Not recommended. Dry cleaning could alter the quality of the transfer.
These recommendations are essential to ensure the quality and longevity of the marking on personalized textiles.

Je n'ai certainement pas trouvé le bon dosage de découpe, parce que difficile de retirer la matière en 1 fois. Il restait un film. mais sinon très beau rendu
