Vibrant prints, even on dark textiles!
Discover our satin white film, specially designed for heat transfer on both light and dark textiles. This high-quality product is compatible with inkjet printers, as well as eco-solvent and solvent inks, offering great versatility for your creative projects.
Ideal for a wide range of textiles such as cotton, polyester, acrylic, and similar fibers, this film stands out for its high opacity and ability to deliver exceptionally clear prints. As a result, you get crisp and vibrant outcomes, even on dark fabrics.
Transform your textiles with an elegant and durable finish thanks to Alljet Dark, the ideal solution for your personalized creations.
Alljet Dark is a high-quality white heat transfer film with a thickness of 100 microns, ensuring the perfect balance between thinness and durability. Ideal for a variety of applications, it guarantees optimal adhesion without compromising the fabric's flexibility.
For optimal transfer, it is recommended to use a heat press set to 160°C for 20 seconds, with medium pressure. This process ensures a uniform and solid application, allowing the design to remain intact over time.
To preserve the quality of the transfer, textiles should be washed at 40°C. To protect the design and avoid any risk of peeling, it is recommended to iron the garment inside out. This precaution helps maintain the vibrancy and longevity of the prints.
Compatible with eco-solvent, solvent, and inkjet inks, this product is a versatile choice for printers commonly used in the industry.
The film offers a matte effect, giving your creations an elegant and professional appearance. This matte finish is particularly appreciated for its subtle, non-reflective look, perfect for discreet yet refined prints.
1. Preparation for Printing the Design
- Prepare the graphic file ensuring it is set up the right way (not in mirror mode, as the final transfer will be direct).
- Configure the printer according to the specific instructions provided by the manufacturer for the type of flex or vinyl used.
2. Using the Print Profile
- Select the appropriate print profile suited to the type of flex and inks used, for accurate color reproduction and optimized drying.
3. Drying After Printing
- Once printing is complete, carefully remove the flex from the printer.
- Allow the flex to dry at room temperature for at least 4 hours. This drying time ensures the inks set properly before handling or cutting the material.
4. Cutting the Film
- If you need to cut the design with a plotter, print the cut registration marks along with the design. Use a flex blade suitable for cutting heat transfer flex, and precisely adjust the blade depth according to the material thickness. This ensures a clean cut without damaging the paper backing.
- Verify that the blade settings optimize precision, especially for fine details of the design. It is recommended to perform a test cut before starting production.
5. Weeding
- After drying and cutting, proceed with weeding by removing the excess material around the printed design.
- Use weeding tools to precisely remove unwanted parts, especially if the design has fine details.
6. Transferring the Design
- It is not advisable to use application tape with this product. With its paper backing, the product may tear when applying the tape. It is recommended to manually transfer the design.
- Position the design on the desired area of the textile, ensuring correct alignment.
7. Pressing the Marking onto the Textile
- Place the textile on the heat press, ensuring it is properly positioned and the application area is clean.
- Position the flex on the desired area of the textile.
- Protect the design with silicone paper to avoid direct contact between the press plate and the polyester film. You can also use the grid-patterned paper backing that was used to position the product before use.
- Set the press to a temperature of 160°C, apply medium pressure, and press for 20 seconds. The combination of heat, time, and pressure ensures the design adheres well to the textile.
8. Removing the Paper Backing Cold
- Allow the textile to cool completely before removing the paper backing.
- Once the textile is cooled, carefully remove the paper, ensuring the flex marking remains securely adhered to the textile. Pulling the backing slowly at a low angle reduces the risk of lifting the design.
By following these step-by-step instructions, you will achieve a high-quality, durable, and well-applied transfer on the textile.
- Follow the care instructions specified on the garment: Adhere to the recommendations specific to the textile on which the film has been applied to ensure its durability.
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash: This allows the film to fully adhere to the fabric and prevents it from peeling off or deteriorating prematurely.
- Iron only on the reverse side: To protect the transfer and avoid damaging it from direct heat, it is imperative to iron the garment on the reverse side.
- Storage: The film should be stored under optimal conditions, upright, away from direct light and moisture, for a maximum of one year. Improper storage can affect the film’s properties, such as its adhesion or elasticity.
- Washing: The garment can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. It is recommended to wash it inside out to prevent the transfer from being directly exposed to friction, which could damage it.
- Avoid using harsh products: Detergents with bleach or other harsh chemicals can damage the film and affect its durability.
- Tumble drying: Tumble drying is allowed, but it is preferable to check the textile’s compatibility with this drying method.
- Dry cleaning: Not recommended. Dry cleaning may alter the quality of the transfer.
These recommendations are essential to ensure the quality and longevity of the marking on the personalized textile.
